The microblogging platform Twitter has officially filed a lawsuit against the Richest man on Earth. This comes after Elon Musk backed out of the 44 billion dollars (USD) deal to buy the platform. Musk is quick enough to respond to the case by tweeting, “Oh the irony lol.”

On Tuesday, July 12, Twitter officially sued Musk for breaching and terminating the contract of buying the microblogging social media platform. The company has asked the court based in Delaware to order the TESLA owner to follow the agreement.
Elon Musk made it official on Saturday, July 9, that he is terminating the contract due to the ambiguous nature of the clause regarding the spam accounts. However, Twitter claims that the company had provided Musk with the necessary data in the lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit, “Musk’s increasingly outlandish requests reflect not a genuine examination of Twitter’s processes but a litigation-driven campaign to try to create a record of noncooperation on Twitter’s part.”
While it is true that Musk’s tweet that he made minutes after the microblogging social media platform filed the lawsuit did not mention anything about the case, many users on the platform have made interesting deductions.
Twitter has accused Musk of being a “model of bad faith” and a “model of hypocrisy.” On the other hand, Musk made the tweet referring to the situation that he had faced with the platform last year when Twitter did not want to sign the deal.
